Dr Ramon Pacheco Pardo is a Senior Lecturer in International Relations at King’s College London and Co-director of the London Asia Pacific Centre for Social Science. He also is Committee Member at CSCAP EU and Research Fellow at the Lau China Institute and the Global Studies Institute in Hong Kong. Dr Pacheco Pardo’s main research areas include East Asian international relations and political economy, the political economy of finance, and EU-East Asia relations. His book ‘North Korea-US Relations under Kim Jong Il: The Quest for Normalization?’ (Routledge) was published in 2014. Dr Pacheco Pardo holds a PhD in International Relations from the LSE.
