Director of Congressional Affairs and Trade, USA. KEI’s specialist on the US-Korea FTA
As Director of Congressional Affairs and Trade, Troy Stangarone serves as KEI’s specialist on the US-Korea FTA and U.S.-Korea economic relations. In this capacity he interacts with business and policy community on key issues related to U.S.-ROK relations.
In addition to his regular contributions to KEI’s Korea Insight, he has written on the FTA for the Seattle Times, the Memphis Commercial Appeal, CSIS Pac Forum’s Issues and Insights, the Korea Herald, Korea Policy Review, and the KEI Exchange, and his comments on the FTA and other trade issues have appeared in the New York Times, the Wall Street Journal, Bloomberg News, Politico, Reuters, CQ Today, the Chosun Ilbo, the Donga Ilbo, JoongAng Daily, Yonhap News Service and the Seoul Shinmun. Prior to joining KEI he worked for a member of the Senate Foreign Relations and Finance Committees on issues pertaining to trade and U.S. foreign policy.
